VCCB
Why VCCB?
Vulcan Condenser Cleaning Sponge Rubber Balls are the technological basis of our Vulcan Online Condenser Cleaning System. In order to ensure that you maximize the performance of VOCCSYS, it is of prime importance that the correct Vulcan Condenser Cleaning Ball is matched with the system. Our Vulcan Condenser Cleaning Balls are used in Thermal Power Plants, Nuclear Power Plants, Desalination Plants, Oil and Gas Refineries, and Chiller Plants. Our Vulcan Condenser Cleaning Balls are designed to match your:
-
Tube Diameter and Material
-
Water Quality, Temperature, and Pressure
-
Scaling and Bio-fouling factor
Ball Selection
We use a distinct in-house calculation system that helps us determine which type of cleaning ball our customers require. We use customer data such as tube material and geometry, water velocity and temperature, water biology and chemistry, as well as the design data of the installed system. Our customers can chooses from wide range of size (13 mm - 36 mm), for a variety of tube material (Cu, CuNi, Brass, Ti, SS), and for all applications (power, air conditioning, desalination)
Distribution and Life
The cleaning frequency of the individual cooling tubes are influenced by the ball distribution in the cooling water inlet pipe, the flow conditions in the water-box and by the properties of Vulcan Condenser Cleaning balls adapted to those parameters. Several factors influence ball life such as tube roughness, degree of fouling of the tubes, as well as type of fouling. The degree of wear of a cleaning ball fluctuates between a few days and 3 weeks, depending on tube condition.
Ball Benefits
Energy loses in condensers and chillers due to incorrect ball selection, or low optimization can be traced to be up-to 20% of design generation/consumption. Steam losses can be even higher when considering the monetary impact. The correct utility of balls are mandatory to prevent losses in the thousands.
Global Support
We provide our customers all over the world, throughout the year with the most precise service that is necessary for the right ball selection, its timely availability, and the optimized operation of a tube cleaning system. This results in supply at favorable cost, as well as timely availability of the products on site.
